Do you think they are trying to tell the world something?

So, it's Monday and I am back at work. Super excited. I was perusing the Internet and came across this:


I'm pretty sure this isn't anything official; but it's still pretty fascinating. I think they might be trying to tell the world something...especially when you compare
the "official" logo from the Beijing Olympics web site:


Personally, I am a fan of the first. I think it sends a pretty powerful message to the world.
